Kirsten Neves

Tuckerman Brewing Co

A homebrewer turned entrepreneur at 24. Kirsten cofounded Tuckerman Brewing Company in 1998 fueled by a passion for quality beer and the desire to live the White Mountain lifestyle to its fullest; taking advantage of, but never taking for granted, the spectacular area we call home. Tuckerman Brewing Co is now one of the longest-running owner-operated breweries in the state. Outside of her time spent at the brewery, Kirsten retreats to her slice of New Hampshire paradise in the quaint town of Eaton where she enjoys walks in the woods with her beloved dog Stump.

Steve O'Brien

Member at Large | Education Committee
Elm City Brewing Co

Steve began his foray into craft beer when he began home brewing in 2012. It didn’t take long for him to realize that he had a passion for beer, and needed to get into this industry. After managing a craft beer bar in the Boston area for a few years, Steve applied for a Front of House management position at Elm City Brewing with hopes of someday getting into the brewery. After a year and a half managing, Steve got his chance and took on the role as the assistant brewer. In June of 2018, he completed the Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering program at the American Brewers Guild, just as Elm City was looking to fill its head brewer position. The timing was perfect, and Steve slid comfortably into the role. Since then, he has brewed a wide variety of styles, began a small barrel program, and is continuously experimenting with new techniques and ingredients.

Judi Clark

Member at Large | DEI Subcommittee Chair
Smuttynose Brewing Co

Boasting over 15 years in the brewing industry, Judi is the Quality Manager for Smuttynose Brewing Company, located in Hampton, NH. Following her completion of the American Brewers Guild program in 2005, Judi began her brewing career as an intern with Smuttynose, who quickly realized they couldn’t (and still can’t) live without her, and offered her a full-time position.

Judi’s background in chemistry, and passion for beer, fueled her decision to start the lab program at Smuttynose, one of the firsts of its kind, in 2012. Her focus on quality became the top priority.

Life outside the brewery consists of long walks with her pup, Morgan, skiing, camping, and watching a good hockey game.
