Join the New Hampshire Brewers Association

Brewery Members

Open to fully licensed breweries in good standing, located and actively brewing at a facility in New Hampshire. Currently we offer a tiered structure based upon the licensed brewery’s annual production total:

Eligibility

Any operating Brew Pub, Beverage Manufacturer, or Nano Brewery that is fully licensed by the Federal Government and the State of New Hampshire; is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws and meets the following:

  • Small: Annual production of 2 million barrels of beer or less. Production includes any beer produced by or for the New Hampshire brewery or breweries, and breweries outside of New Hampshire that are a part of the same controlled group of breweries for purposes of determining eligibility of the New Hampshire brewery or breweries for the federal beer excise tax rate.
  • Independent: The brewery is not partially owned or controlled directly or indirectly by an alcoholic beverage industry member or a natural person that does not otherwise qualify under this section.
  • Traditional: A brewer that has a majority of its total beverage alcohol volume in beers whose flavor derives from traditional or innovative brewing ingredients and their fermentation. Flavored malt beverages (FMBs) are not considered beers.
  • Holds a Brewer’s Notice: A brewer holding an approved and currently effective Brewer’s Notice and associated register number issued by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (“TTB”)

Brewery in Planning

Open to breweries-in-planning who expect to qualify as Brewery Members in the future. Organizations may not be brewery-in-planning members for more than two consecutive years; all applications are subject to internal review for qualification.

Please note, should a brewing-in-planning come to market before the end of the fiscal year they will be expected to pay the difference in dues of ($100) to become an active Brewery Member.

Dues shall be set annually by the NHBA Board of Directors.

Not yet open? You can still join at any time as a Brewery in Planning Member.

Interested in membership or for further details please contact our Executive Director, CJ Haines, to learn more.
